SAT Test Prep Makes the Difference in College Admission

.Colleges and Universities look at SAT scores as an objective assessment tool that eliminates students who do not test well. Some students get great grades in school, but this is not enough to get into the top colleges. As the following article states, starting early on SAT test prep with a private tutor is the best way to prepare your child for success.
What’s the word on SAT’s?
According to CollegeBoard, “The SAT is a globally recognized college admission test that lets you show colleges what you know and how well you apply that knowledge.” Not only does it require hours of long, excruciating studying everything you can possibly know about math and English, but it is also a major factor when it comes to getting into a good college. Take the test early; that way you are stress free by the time the college selection process rolls around. It may sound like a pain, CollegeBoard says that you should familiarize yourself with the test format and question types now, so on test day you can spend more time on the questions rather than the directions.
Studies show that cramming and short-term preparation can not substitute for hard work in school, so the best ways to prepare for the SATs are to take challenging courses in high school, study hard, and read and write out of the classroom. The official dates for the SATs this spring are May 5th and June 2nd. Deadlines for the May 5th and June 2nd SAT are April 6th and May 8th. Juniors don’t delay, register today!
